Tingsapp is an on-demand moving platform where customers can book a move instantly with upfront pricing. For movers, it is a way to get access to extra local jobs through the platform while keeping their own customers.
Tingsapp is best suited for movers and moving companies already working in the industry, but anyone with the right vehicle, a valid driver’s license, legal authorization to work in Canada, and a professional attitude can apply.
When a new job becomes available in a mover’s area, local movers are notified through the platform at the same time. Accepting a job is always optional, but the first mover to accept it gets the job. Once a mover accepts a job, they are expected to complete it professionally and to the best of their ability.
Every move on Tingsapp comes with a fixed upfront price. The price is based on things like the size of the move, the number of items, the distance, and whether there are stairs at pickup or drop-off. Before accepting a new job, movers can see the total amount they will be paid for that job. If the customer leaves a tip after the move, movers keep 100% of it.
Movers get paid weekly by direct deposit to their bank account for completed jobs.
